Clipper St
This was a 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom ( + 2 powder room) luxury residential project nestled in San Francisco’s Noe Valley.
I took a human-centered design approach with the kitchen and bathroom, and considered counter height ergonomics and kitchen workflows. I sourced tiles and finishes while coordinating technical deliverables with the construction team.
The project provided hands-on experience translating research into functional residential design. The home sold for $4.9M in 2020.

This kitchen with stainless steel and matte black finishes, a calacatta stone counter and backsplash, and Circa light fixtures. The kitchen elevations and cabinetry layout were designed for the optimal cooking experience.
Imagine prepping aromatics in the sink, turning around and throwing them onto a hot pan atop a Thermador range, tossing scraps into a slide-out disposal bin, washing your hands, and looking out to the yard as the aromatics sizzle on the pan.
The kitchenette was designed with contrasting finishes to the kitchen. Here, we used matte black finishes with a light oak veneer and simple, exposed shelves to showoff a spice collection, mixology station, and more.
